Error: Could not initialize steam client library! #161

I'm running Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS but when I try to start remoteplaywhatever from terminal I'm greeted with:

Error: Could not initialize steam client library!

Any ideas?

Loading

Flatpak / Beta client versions are not supported. Native stable steam client should also be running.

Ye I am getting this on windows, normal steam install
