I just set up room assistant, and I wanted to achieve some sort of triangulation based on the distance. It seems that a given device will have the distance attribute set to the inverse of RSSI calculated by the closest room assistant device. I was actually hoping of not having to get a raspberry for each room, and to be able to triangulate using 3 devices.
Is that doable? Or is the noise and the signal reduction caused by walls too complicated? Has anyone tried this?
