Hi a have 2 York AC units with the wifi module integrated that works with ac freedom app.

I have two routers the one that the ISP provides and a newer more secure one that only supports WPA2 PSK AES network security, the broadlink module does not connect to it, so i have to connect these devices to the ISP ssid wifi.

All my other stuff is in my other network (hoobs, appleTV, homepods, etc).

I can reach/control one ac with homekit using the plug-in putting the public ip address on it and putting on DMZ mode one AC unit on the ISP router

So i need to know whats ports do i need to open to stop DMZ and open the ports on both units so i can controll both of them.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi, 80 - is the default port for broadlink server, as i know - https://github.com/makleso6/homebridge-broadlink-heater-cooler

Maybe you should use reverse proxy with authorization to secure control of you AC

P.S. Maybe good idea for you use vpn to local network, instead of port forwarding from public internet.
Script kiddies nowdays very often occur

And how do I do that? Could you please elaborate or point in the right dirección
