I'm using the sensor right now with 100mm just to be on the safe side. Would it be possible to have the sidebar show the current lowest remaining distance for the print? I think this would be a good way to hone in on the best distance setting if you knew on average what the lowest remaining detection distance it got to. Not sure how hard it would be to code that.

You can get some of that data from the debug logs. If you go into the "Logging" section of the setting menu, and under "Logging Levels", you select the setup below, then press the "+" sign, the log file should give you some of that data if you're trying to fine-tune the sensor's settings.
Sorry, just realized that nothing is being logged with that method.
What I really wish you could do is select "no action" from the actions drop-down. That way it would go through all the motions and you could see if you would have had it pause the print when it wasn't expected to. Or maybe a "notification only" that would give you a pop-up. Something to allow for debugging rather than losing a print.
