<h2><strong>Computer Hardware (1998)</strong></h2>

<p class="Normal">For those interested in this sort of thing
here's info on the</p>
<p class="Normal">two computers I own at the moment.</p>
<p class="Normal">The Tandy was used from late 1987 to '91, I
think, where it was</p>
<p class="Normal">replaced by an Austin 386SX-20 and later a
put-together 486DX-33.</p>
<p class="Normal">Those last two were stolen and sold,
respectively, so the Tandy was</p>
<p class="Normal">back in use from 1992 to 1997.</p>
<p class="Normal">The thing just won't quit working. (^ ^)</p>
<p class="Normal">During those years I fell behind and never
really caught up.</p>
<p class="Normal">Had Linux 0.95C+ up and running and was
getting acquainted with</p>
<p class="Normal">the then unreleased Window NT (I received a
couple beta packages</p>
<p class="Normal">with NT and Win32s SDK but lost the 486 just
before receiving</p>
<p class="Normal">the finished version). Tried some X Window
programming via</p>
<p class="Normal">DESQview/X and GCC, too. All forgotten though
since there wasn't</p>
<p class="Normal">too much I could do on an XT-class machine.
But anyhind...</p>
