Why is disabled on a invalid input field trhowing a console error

Hi, I was not sure whether the below behavior is wanted and did not want to trash your issue list.

1. a <md-filled-text-field pattern="[A-Z]+" value="1">
2. set in JavaScript or console the attribute disabled to true

This is fixed in the next release! You can use it early with @material/web@nightly
