I just recently made two new packages, subscription-data and subscription-scope, with an idea to improve exactly features like this package is offering. So that you can provide search, and infinite scroll, but that:

  • only new documents are send to the client
  • you do not have to restart the whole subscription when doing infinite scroll
  • you can have both the whole count of what would be the whole query, and just a subset of documents at the same time
  • you know exactly which documents are returned as a result of your search with very little overhead

Sounds interesting, I'll definitely check it out in the next days!

Having support in the integration would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I'll let this one on hold for now.
