Constant map re-renders

Describe the bug
The map is constantly re-rendering while it tracks depth data

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to one of the maps
2. Open the developer console
3. See constant depth request succeeded messages
4. Scroll over vehicle path and notice that the depth and timeline indicator blink every time the depth request happens

Expected behavior
The depth information should be displayed in a way that does not cause constant map re-renders

Additional context
The map is currently a glob of connected services. It would be good to modularize if possible.
