how tell workflows/nodes are safe

Two days ago I downloaded a workflow which I tried to use in Comfyui (inside Swarmui) .
I got a message that some nodes where missing so I tried to install them with Comfyui Manager (version 3.6).
After that the server did not want to start, when first starting it looked like a message passed by telling that some nodes where not suitable for ????
Restarting did not help, so I had to re-install SwarmUI.

How can I prevent that this happens again, is it somehow possible to check whether a node can be used ?
I installed nodes before without problems.

There's nothing specific to swarm in regards to whether comfy nodes work or not.
