How often are application versions released?

Q: How often are new versions of the application released?

I ask because I have been using "CopyMeThat" so far and I haven't seen any options for migrating recipes from one system to another, apart from manually copying them from one app to another. Fortunately, someone came up with an idea to implement such migration: #2212
I saw that it was included in the nightly builds, but no official release of the application has been made since then.
And I am concerned about using an application in nightly build on production.

How often are new versions of the application released?

We don't have a regular schedule yet, it's something I'd like to setup this year. Currently we're milestone based releases.

As for a timeline, I can't really give you one, I'm buying a house and moving across the country this summer, so my time is very limited for the next few months.

The last question, before I close this inquiry, is: If I do not use a nightly build, will I have a chance to export from a higher version of the application to a lower version of the application? Or do you see any chance of doing so?
The easiest version, using Docker, to downgrade from the nightly version to beta version does not work. There are some issues with starting the application.
