Many budgeting sites recommend setting up a fixed menu (maybe over 2 weeks or more) to allow easier meal budgeting

Please provide a concise description of the feature that would resolve your issue.

It would be useful if we could select an N week cycle of recipes rather than having to schedule by date.

Please consider and list out some caveats or tradeoffs made in your design decision

This may be an either/or solution - either you use scheduling or you use an N week set of menus, (which could possibly be presented in a calendar view, but not editable) I can't see at present how the two systems could coexist
