Are you aware that the people search is normally using the localPeople search result source as it provides all the User from the User Profile App within SharePoint? If you just want to show a subset of the people I recommend adjusting the query like I do here: https://www.m365thinking.com/post/using-the-pnp-modern-search-results-web-part-as-a-department-web-part |

Hello, I'm aware of that. But we have also people who does only have ExchangeOnline or no-account in the company. For them to list it was easier to setup from a sharepoint list. |

Ok, in that case you are using the People layout for something it was never designed for. I will recommend that you create a custom layout based on the People layout. |

Hello
My first time here, and also using the pnp search.
I have made a people search page for the company i work for, i get all the persons from a sharepoin list.
With the persons who have a entra-account i'm having the picture from entra as default URL (/_layouts/15/userphoto.aspx?size=L&username=)
From the persons who don't have an account there is a document library where the images are stored.
When there is no image for the non-accounts people i'm getting the initials as image.
When terhe is no image for the account-peoples i'm getting a grey person image.
How can i set these images to default initials? With the people customization fields the handlebars for imageURL is no HTML friendly. I prefer not to get in the template is possible.
