Refresh search result web part from custom web component

Hello,

I have created a custom data source with my own layout. In the layout I developed a custom web component.
After a button click in the web component I want to refresh the search result web part to reload the data from my own data source.

Is it possible to refresh the search result or data from the custom data source?

Not with an exposed event today afaik. You could however trigger navigation which is then picked up as an event - or do a location.reload or similar.

Currently I dispatch a "pageNumberUpdated" event with a random pageNumber in my web component. In my solution I don't need paging. This works very well.
