Sometimes Edge gets updated during a validation run which impacts the executable testing and often leads to failures.

Steps to reproduce

Submit a PR and notice in some cases during Installation Validation "Edge" gets updated.

Actual behavior

Submit a PR and notice in some cases during Installation Validation "Edge" gets updated.

Expected behavior

Edge doesn't get updated during a validation.
