Twitter was only downloading images yesterday, now won't download anything

I tried downloading an age-gated Twitter profile yesterday and noticed it didn't download any videos and possibly not all the images.
Now it's just throwing a bunch of errors:

That is despite the posts being viewable through the browser.

That looks like a bug with youtube-dl/yt-dlp.
yt-dlp/yt-dlp@147e62f should fix it for yt-dlp, but this hasn't been released yet.

Alternatively, you could download videos without ytdl ...

Yeah that does make sense considering the error messages.
Interesting how it caused the images to not get downloaded too.

But in any case, removing the ytdl bit did fix this.
Am I losing anything by not having it?

using yt-dl would give you the ability to use your own yt-dlp config I assume? not sure if you anything more than that, mikf would have to expand on it

Enabling forward-cookies while being logged in with gallery-dl seems to work, even without the changes from yt-dlp/yt-dlp@147e62f
