At the moment you can visit miking.org over HTTP: http://miking.org/

You can disable HTTP and just have HTTPS by changing a setting in the Github Pages settings menu:

Go to the repo settings
Choose "Pages" in the sidebar
Check "Enforce HTTPS"

If you then visit the website over HTTP, it will redirect to HTTPS.
