How am I supposed to open a local file?

(It wont open via file:/// or files:/// nor the command line min-browser file.html

Okay, I did a reboot and the command min-browser file.html opens min but not the file.
And I can see the following error:
[3756:0312/160514.203266:ERROR:bus.cc(407)] Failed to connect to the bus: Could not parse server address: Unknown address type (examples of valid types are "tcp" and on UNIX "unix")
Edit:
I think, because the error could be system related, that system information could be useful: Artix Linux with dinit

file:/// should work, either in the address bar or in the command line. What error do you get when you try that?
