htm export: default background in nested text != background in diagram

given a simple hierarchy of nodes with some of the nodes colored, like this:

                             /--  outer (green) --- leaf2
leaf1 --- root --- inner (orange)
                             \-- leaf3

when I export this as html

then the exported text backgrounds should be like the ones in the diagram, shouldn't they?

currently they mismatch:
the left leaf1, grey in the map, becomes white in the text,
the right leaf2, grey in the map, becomes green in the text.
