xesam-artist problem

Hi, when I try to replace xesam-album with xesam-artist it displays something like that. Do you know how can I fix it?

Add this:

                    try:
                        tmp_metadata["xesam-artist"] = tmp_metadata["xesam-artist"][0]
                    except:
                        tmp_metadata["xesam-artist"] = ""
