Thank you guys so much its really helped a lot. I've learned a ton over the last couple of days. naming the item entity or block .json file was something so simple yet so complicated for me to initially wrap my head around. I still have one question regarding dropping enchanted items like armor. I used the enchant_randomly function and I was wondering if I could give a weight to the rarity of each enchant. would that just be adding a "weight": line to the code? well I guess I could just trial and error it instead of asking all of you here.

ok i would like to scratch those questions after about an hour and a half of tinkering i figured out how to do a lot of what i was initially asking in the 1st reply.

my only question as of right now is how would i make certain drops like say raw iron coming from a dirt block higher with fortune but not another item in the loot table.

use a block that has fortunable drops as a reference, and only have it apply that that one item in the pool

I did a bit more research and I believe it's being caused by a change of the "initial_density_without_jaggedness" property in noise settings. Messing around with it right now.

I'd check the buried treasure loot table. I think you'd need to change its "destination" field. It takes in a structure tag, though, not a specific structure name iirc.

If you mean saving the recipes and stuff to a datapack then yea ive been doing that since i need to download the datapack with the stuff in it but the website seems to delete the data from my datapacks after a while, so i need to re-import the datapack that i had downloaded earlier

I was wondering how I can change the values of tools and weapons.

for example, how can I modify the damage value and attack speed value of a wooden pickaxe?

I think you just change the components of what comes out of the wooden pickaxe recipe, or, using a function, check if someone has a wooden pick in their inventory and replace it with a different one with the values you set
Just note that the second option would be better for something like diamond tools since they can be obtained through villager trades

Hi, sorry to bother - came to the comments to see if I could figure out whether it was possible to upload an existing pack to this site so I can figure out how to tweak it. I have been planning a new Minecraft world, and your "To the max" pack is one of the absolute top contenders for worldgen, but I fear the scale is a bit too large for what I am looking for.

Is it possible/permissible to make the biomes smaller, and to make the generation form continents? If so, how would one approach these steps, including changing the size of the continents? Thanks in advance for your help.

I am the creator of JJThunder to the Max, and I've got exposed to data pack generation thanks to this awesome online generator.

I have been inspired to world generation and terraforming after terraforged became outdated during caves and cliffs update, so thanks to this data pack, I was able to make a prototype of my own.

Data pack generation has been my hobby for almost 5 years now, and my project has about 300k downloads. That's why I love misode data pack generator thanks to its awesome visuals and zero coding experience.

My major issue is recent: Whenever the user switches back and forth between saved files, the generator overwrites one file with another. It has been almost long time ever since I've updated my datapack, ever since v0.6.0, which took a massive hit from the community to the point where popular youtubers like asian half squat and raytraceforge dedicated a youtube video specifically for that.

Right now, it has been almost a year since my work is paused due to this major bug, and many of my fans on discord couldn't wait for me to update JJThunder to the newest version so that it can pe compatible with c2me ocl accelerator. Accordingly they started creating forked versions of jjthunder to the max for newer versions.

I would sincerely dedicate my special thanks to misode, the amazing coder who did an amazing job for my dreams to be fullfilled, and I hope this online website continues to evolve, so that more and more amateurs could get exposed to this wonderful invention and make minecraft a more customizable experience for everyone to enjoy.

Unfortunately, Minecraft dosent have a Feature that allows to have a Texture pack inside datapack. Thats just how Minecraft Works. If u wanna add Textures, make a seperate Resource pack.
