SH10RT: immediate backup mode on blackout? Now it goes dark and thinks for a minute. #342

I could not find a way to reset all settings to defaults, so I found a template on isolarcloud and applied that. Also did an initial grid adaptation. |

I'd normally say that this might be due to incorrect wiring between the energy meter and the inverter (notably, the energy meter must not receive power during a power outage). But since you said it already worked once, I'm uncertain. |

I'm not sure about meter not receiving power, as inverter is set to react in only 20ms, which is basically immediate and quicker that meter's communication can handle. |

Can someone check the "Forced AC Bypass" parameter? Is it Enabled or Disabled? Not sure what this does, but might have something to do. |

Hello, did you find a solution for this problem? Today I had a grid power outage and backup power did not work properly, altough it worked like a charm some month ago. I'm pretty sure I did not change anything in settings or wireing. Have to look into this... |

I've contacted support and after some email they suggested to disable "forced bypass", which did not help. But then I have completely powered off the inverter (disconnected solar, battery and grid) and after powering on this setting was enabled again and backup function worked. Another issue that I have noticed is very slow reaction to grid power usage, while attempting to keep 0W in self-consumption mode. I mean, if I switch on a 2kW kettle, it takes some time until battery compensates it. I think it was much quicker before. This happened after I updated it to latest firmware. |

This is a general inverter support question. I hope someone knows.
I have my house hooked up to the backup port and I believe it worked very well: when blackout occurred, it switched to battery power immediately and there was no noticeable loss of power.
I was playing with configurations and likely changed something, so now, when blackout occurs, everything switches off and backup power goes up in a minute or two. I can hear relays clicking while it is "thinking". It does go to backup mode eventually, but it takes time.
So my question is.. what parameters should I check? What may be causing this issue? Or perhaps it is possible to load a known good configuration, or a factory reset? I did "initial grid setup", but all the settings look largely unchanged. Bein an engineer, I still don't understand most of the parameters. They are not documented anywhere.
