invisibile floating slider

Hey I really like your app and I was wondering if it was possible to add a feature to make the floating slider invisible (like the one you get on YouTube) and maybe the possibility to turn it on only in certain apps

Currently you can do that from the notifications.

I don't know what you mean (I don't use YouTube on mobile that much :/) can you maybe show me an example of what you exactly mean?

That actually a cool idea. Sadly I don't have much time to spend on this project...
I would add it to my todo, but don't expect it to be done soon.

Here are my 2 cents : you could have an Option to have the slider disappear as soon as the interaction ends. Now, while the slider is fully transparent and invisible (so the complete screen is at users disposal), the slider should still stay at the very coordinates of the screen it was last left - this way one doesn't need to hide/show it constantly by opening the notification drawer. It would be much more user intuitive that way as I would know where to drag to interact with it. If it needs to be displaced, there is already the option present.

Basically when you are watching a YouTube video in full screen if you slide your finger up or down in like the right part of your screen you can increase or decrease the volume.
I think the idea of @LatringDay could probably even be a lil better anyway

Hmm.. you mean that the UI disappears when not touched? Meaning the person have to remember the position?

I kinda see your point here, but touching the UI accidentally might result in a hear loss if the person forgot its (this app) already running...

technically this is possible, but as I explain above this might be dangerous especially as the app doesn't stop on specific maximum volume (no safety mechanic), instead it can go all the way up without even notifying the person.

Sure, I can see how this can be useful, but making stuff invisible is worrisome especially for this :\

That actually makes sense. Maybe you could change the behaviour of the slider. Tapping has to be removed so when someone accidentally taps on the slider, it does nothing. One must slide in order to render change of volume in effect.

Why this makes sense? Well because the slider is already smaller and sliding is not much of a Hassel or time-draining.

I think that's better, but would need to picture it first, at the moment I don't see it would make sense looking to what we have to change (a bit of overkill?), I also think that people would be mistakenly touch it by moving their thumbs up (the real issue) or down...
