Actually I have looked at the data and it seems the grid export limit may be modbus register at address 0x9D90. |

I've just release v0.9.6, the MS inverter should be able to set the grid export limit there. |

I got this export-limit functional on my GW6K-DT inverter.
Now I'm able to use the Grid export limit slider in HomeAssistant. I believe the slider represents a percentage of it's maximum power. Since this can be set via the mobile app/web-socket I would expect that this should also be possible via the HA intergration. Setup:

Hi all I have an 8500-ms Inverter and trying use the export limit function but each time I try and adjust it I get an illegal data value error I have turned on the power limit option on the inverter itself but still get the error Is there a firmware update on the inverter that is required? Cheers |

Yes, that's correct.
The Grid export limit can be changed from within HA, with usual disclaimer - use with caution.
It works on ET/EH inverter families, should work on ES/EM inverters and does not work on DT/D-NS family of inverters.
