I can't see my page

Hello, I'm new to to github, jekyll, and your theme. I followed the instructions here https://mmistakes.github.io/minimal-mistakes/docs/pages/, but I am having problems with my page link not showing up on the top bar.

The blog page is in html format, but I had also tried it in md format (I'm not sure if that makes a difference tbh). I also added the url link in _data/navigation.yml and the permalink in blog.html as /sophiamao/blog/. Previously I had tried writing it as /blog/ as well. None of the things I did worked, so any help would be appreciated.
