There isn't a LICENSE file, nor something in the README, and a quick search in the repo says "GPL" but not which version.

A LICENSE file in the repo's root would be good.

license for pretty much all open-source MOD projects is going to move to AGPLv2
but we are quite busy at the moment with preparations for the dwarf release (and the features involved)
