Convert MF-USG to MF6 Model to Implement non-steady HFB

Hi, I apologize if this is already answered somewhere in the notebooks. I don't recall having seen it, but I want to load a MF-USG with flopy, and convert it to a MF-6 model.

I need to implement some horizontal barriers at some time in the middle of the run. As far as I understand, The HFB package can't do that in MF-USG, but I can in MF-6.

I know it will come down to package compatibility, and will probably have to build a IMS package discarding the SMS. I wonder though If by loading the MF-USG model into flopy and its packages I can just simply create new MF-6 model, and assign existing and compatible MF-USG packages (RIV, CHD, DISU, BAS, OC) to the MF-6 model, write my HFB package, and then just simply write the MF-6 simulation files.

I'll be giving it a try, but thought I might be useful to leave the question here.
