Specify the end of the pictured plug

Hello and thanks for the project.
Could you specify which end of the cable is pictured (and described in the monospaced figure)? Is it the plug that remains on the cable or the one that you cut away?

It's the view from the cable side "view at cable". Not on the port side.

The cable plug on both ends has the same pinout, but don't trust the wire colors. The tx and rx are intercrossed.
