Running Locally

export AWS_PROFILE=admin

./terraform.sh ACCOUNT_ID ENVIRONMENT REGION COMPONENT COMMAND [EXTRA_TERRAFORM_PARAMS]

account_id: Account ID to provision on
region: Deployment region
commands: get plan apply plan_destroy destroy import console rm_state output show_state list_state move_state

Running on CI

A GitHub workflow has been created to terraform plan every pull request and terraform plan and apply for every push to the main branch.

PS: This has been commented out because no secrets have been added to the public repository.

Tasks completed

  • The site should be served to the public.
  • Add a custom error document.
  • Automation of testing & deployment of infrastructure.
  • Two marketing users Alice & Malory should have access to only add to the /news section
  • Bobby the content editor needs to be able to edit the entire website.
  • Charlie works in HR and should be able to update /people.html
