Bug: Microphone Selection not working depending on the available microphones

I would like to report a bug.

I use different microphones.

I plug in my laptop to a docking station and use very good microphone which is connected via usb. I use this microphone once plugged in into the desktop.

Now, if I remove the laptop from my docking station, voice typer thinks that the old external microphone is still attached. This shouldn't be; it is not an available microphone input device, so it should default to the system default microphone, which would be the one of my laptop instead of the one in external microphone.
