It appears that we are finally going to see a fix for txpower 3.00 dBm on various Mediatek drivers. The fix is in a series of 5 patches with the following title:

It appears that we are finally going to see a fix for

I think we have had at least one report of this problem per week for the last 2 years. I have no idea why Mediatek did not correct this problem.
