New account email sent to non-email

Steps to reproduce

• Go to https://teach.mozilla.org/
• Click "Sign In"
• Type some garbage into "Username" i.e. "zzzzkzkzjjzzkzjz" or "zjzjzjalkdjfajbc"
• Focus the password field
• You are redirected to the "Uh Oh, there isn't a password for this account" page
• Hit "Continue"
• See the following...

Seems like it's trying to tell me that it sent me an email, when all I provided was a username.

I can't reproduce this - @flukeout what was the garbage username you entered? was it really garbage?

@cadecairos I tried with my actual username "flukeout" and then subsequently with some garbage ones. I'm also unable to recover my password for my real account "flukeout".

flukeout is a user already

Go to Log In instead and hit "forgot password" see this...

Type in my username, get this...

Hit continue, get this...

I didn't get any emails
