A simple node that added latestGitHash and latestGitHashShort (8 chars) to your msg.payload.

Installation

  1. npm install node-red-contrib-latest-git-hash
  2. Setup a Node Red project https://nodered.org/docs/user-guide/projects/
  3. use the latest-git-hash node
