Wyze alternative firmware

I recently found some open source firmware that removes your wyze cam from from the wyze eco-system. I have it running on 3 -V3s presently, search "thingino" on github. FYI

It's an easy process, view this video to see a V3 flashed. Note that if you don't save the original signed firmware there's no going back. Overall I recommend doing it, I have flashed 10 V3s and 4 cinnados that I got for $10 without problems. I record to Sentryshot (a really nice NVR that installs as a docker image). I run the RTSP streams thru go2rtc to keep the recorder from complaining about POC errors and to have the availability to bookmark streaming pages. The firmware is being updated almost daily, and really gives the Wyze cams a new life and it's cool.
