The script should verify the connection to Plex prior to checking if there is anything downloading.

This can be done by calling http://127.0.0.1/?X-Plex-Token=abcd1234efgh5678 and checking the response.

Although it will double the number of API calls, it will make troubleshooting token problems easier.
