Add violins/boxes to the plot one by one

I have the following code currently:

    driver_colors = [pick_driver_color(driver) for driver in drivers]

    sns.violinplot(
        data=included_laps,
        x="Driver",
        y=y,
        inner=None,
        scale="area",
        palette=driver_colors,
        order=drivers,
    )

I now want to customize each individual violin more, say changing the border width and border color, depending on the x value. It appears that these style options cannot be configured individually.

My question is:

1. Is there a way to configure these style options for each violin individually?
2. If not, is there a way to add violins to the plot one by one so I can set different style options for each of them
