Ruthenium is a blockchain motivating to not capitalize tokens.
The associated token is called Ruthenium (106) as well.
Rutheniums can be split into smaller units to facilitate smaller transactions.
A particule is the smallest denomination of Ruthenium, equivalent to 100 millionth of a Ruthenium.
Each validator must be registered in the Proof of Humanity registry with the same Ethereum wallet address used by its validator node.
The validation occurs each minute. The validator node selected to validate a new block is the one which have not been selected for the longest time.
To motivate people to not capitalize tokens and to prefer spending the tokens they earn, the amount of each wallet is constantly decreasing. As the ruthenium isotope having 106 nucelons (106Ru), with a half-life of 373.59 days, the wallet amount will be halved after around one year.
To incentive people to use the blockchain, there is a way to get a kind of basic income. To get to this income, people simply need to run a validator node linked to their wallet address.
The income comes from the rewards a validator might earn for each block he validates. The reward amount can be up to 0.0282 Ruthenium per minute, leading to 1,217 Rutheniums per month.
Here is the reward amount calculation formula for 1 minute, with A, the validator wallet amount:
Combining the decay with the reward, any validator wallet amount will tend to 100 000 Rutheniums.
- A validator holding more than 100 000 Rutheniums will see its wallet amount decrease over time
- A validator holding less than 100 000 Rutheniums will see its wallet amount increase over time
