High CPU usage on Macbook Pro

I was trying out orange on a macbook and the CPU usage was through the roof. Any ideas why this might be happening?

After continued usage the CPU usage came down. Maybe it was that high after initial launch because it was indexing the files? Not sure about the internals of Orange so maybe a dev can answer better.

Yes , And a button named "Reindex" do the same job.

Would be great if specific directories could be provided initially before attempting to index everything?
