Add "completed at" display for completed quests #186
Comments
@evadecker Were you picturing this somewhere specfic or a certain treatment for it? |
The more I think about this, I begin to wonder: In a completed state for a quest, is it worth displaying the steps anymore? Should marking a quest as done hide the content? |
Possibly, though if I’m coming to back to a quest I know I’ve already done, I might be looking for something? So then we’d need a way to unhide also. Is there an example in software you like where when you finish the thing it goes away? I guess Things/OmniFocus and similar to-do list apps, email Inbox 0 screens? |
Hm, true, there might be details someone might want to see again for some reason. I'm thinking about the display of quests for games, where it displays a "cleared!" badge like this: Or a large "Complete" label like this: Something big that draws attention to the state. We could create a large-ish completion stamp which appears in the header, in place of (or on top of) the illustration on the right. With large text for "Completed" and smaller text to show the completion date? Visual example: Or if we want a subtler treatment: add the start and complete dates beside the "Updated" date in the footer area. |
Makes sense. I'll take a pass at something in that world. |
Show start date and completion date, and difference between dates
