What is the difference between pint.random_models.random_models and pint.simulation.calculate_random_models? #1442

It seems that only pint.simulation.calculate_random_models is used by pintk. Is pint.random_models.random_models redundant? The pint.random_models has 0% test coverage.

I'll work on this as part of #1334 There will be some other random models cleanup in that. Maybe this issue will be the kick in the butt that I need to finish that off!
