Missing flags #4

It absolutely is! I’d love to fill in the rest. This project is 100% a work in progress and an ever-growing list. There are other NiT projects that aim to compile a dataset of tribal websites; from which we could also source.

The wikimedia source is missing a large portion of even federally recognized tribes. I see a total of 117 flags here. There are around 570 federally recognized tribes in the US and a number of state recognized as well.

Checklist from here. Not sure of the best way to cross-check the lists, but I tried some rough fuzzy match. No guarantee that these are all correct though

A number of these (~100?) are already available in the category section. I linked a few to improve both Wikimedia and this, but it might take about a days worth of editing to get them all. |
These are all fantastic resources. I have some time set aside this week to get this all integrated. It'll definitely take some manual tweaking but we'll get there! |
I think I've linked all of the flags of federally recognized tribes in the category page to your source page for the US. |
Love this project! My tribe's wikipedia page doesn't currently have a flag on our wiki page. I'm a complete noob so I'd love to know how to add our flag |
The wikimedia source is missing a large portion of even federally recognized tribes. I see a total of 117 flags here. There are around 570 federally recognized tribes in the US and a number of state recognized as well. Maybe also maintaining a list of missing flag icons could help in crowd-sourcing the effort.
