<h2>Types of Adoption</h2>
<p>Sometimes, the best teachers are the ones who have been through it themselves. It can be comforting to
read about people dealing with similar issues, and we shortlisted the basic types of adoption for you
to prepare yourselves and then decide which one would be suitable for you.</p>
<table>
<tr>
<th>Intercountry Adoption</th>
<td>Adopting a child from another country can be complicated and expensive. Some countries have
significantly reduced the number of children that are available to be adopted, and others have
eliminated international adoption entirely.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th>Domestic Adoption</th>
<td>Adopting a child from locally is comparatively easier but expensive. It involves adopting the child
within the country to avoid travelling out of country and get in to cumbersome issues like the visa
approvals and permission from other country to adopt a child.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th>Transracial Adoption</th>
<td>Transracial or transcultural adoption means placing a child who is of one race or ethnic group with
adoptive parents of another race or ethnic group.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th>Special Needs Adoption</th>
<td>Special needs adoptions refers to any adoption of a child that has needs that might makes it harder to
find an adoptive family. These special needs can range from minor medically correctable issues to life
altering conditions.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<th>Foster Care Adoption</th>
<td>Foster care adoption is the adoption of a child in foster care whose biological parents’ rights have been
terminated by a court. The child may be adopted by either his or her foster parents or another adoptive
family.</td>
