Housekeeping job and 4.4 release notes

Release notes for 4.4.0-beta1 mention removal of the housekeeping script in favor of a job.

Should there be more than just a changelog entry for this? Maybe guidance to remove cronjob for the housekeeping script if that is necessary?

In the release note there is only a mention to #18349. I agree that a bit more info would not harm. :-)

Are these Housekeeping System Jobs expected to appear among other Jobs (/core/jobs/)? Or is there a specific way to see System Jobs?

I upgraded a test machine yesterday, but still can't see any activity regarding housekeeping.

Should it appear in the jobs under /core/background-queues/?

Ah, I'm a complete noob installing netbox for the first time today, and have got as far as the housekeeping scheduling in the install guide - the netbox-housekeeing.sh script isn't in the contrib directory, and neither are the systemd service modules. Can I safely ignore them to proceed with the test and enable housekeeping later, or is there some other process I should follow? Thanks!

Which "install guide" are you using exactly? URL would be nice for reference.

I had noticed that PR 19815 removed the housekeeping part from install guide but https://netboxlabs.com/docs/netbox/installation/netbox/#schedule-the-housekeeping-task still exists.

Edit: You should maybe be looking at https://netbox.readthedocs.io/en/stable/installation/3-netbox/ which seems to correspond with the repo as of PR 19815.
