It would be amazing if the scroll state on specific items was saved so that if I get 50% through reading an article and come back to it later, the view is automatically scrolled to there.
I think this would be fine to happen on client, especially since I don't think this is something that the upstream news app supports. But at least on android itself, start-and-stop reading would seem pretty common and this feature would really be nice.

Thank you for the idea, and sorry for the delay. Could you elaborate when this is useful? Do you have RSS-feeds that have extremely long articles? My articles are usually only a few sentences long (the full articles on the website are usually a little longer) but not the articles that are provided through the RSS feed.
For the full articles on the website this would only be possible in case you select the "Built-in browser" option in the app's settings. However, the default is the Chrome Custom Tabs that we recommend for several reasons. Therefore, adding such a feature for the full articles on the publishers websites would not help many users without recommending switching over to the Built-in browser again..
