In today's News update to 25.1.1 this change is mentioned:
Build(deps): Bump fivefilters/readability.php from 3.2.0 to 3.3.0 by https://github.com/dependabot in https://github.com/nextcloud/news/pull/2958

Can someone please explain how we can use fivefilters/readability with Nextcloud News to extract the full articles of RSS feeds that limit the article to a short synopsis of the full text?

You can not. That's not what it's used for.

Hey maybe @SMillerDev got something mixed up here. It is indeed used for the full text feature but belonged previously to a different GitHub account.

You can enable full text in the Webinterface next to the feed name in the feed list the ... and there in the list is somewhere full text.

With cookie banners and stuff it does not work with every website but you can try and when it's worse disable it again.
