Description
⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️
- This is a bug, not a question or a configuration/webserver/proxy issue.
- This issue is not already reported on Github OR Nextcloud Community Forum (I've searched it).
- Nextcloud Server is up to date. See Maintenance and Release Schedule for supported versions.
- I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.
Bug description
The share recipient in a share without "download and sync" permission will still see a menu entry "Open locally".
Using this feature will not work, since downloading and syncing is not possible due to the permissions.
So it's mostly a visual bug and might lead to user confusion, but there is no circumvention of the permissions.
Steps to reproduce
- User A creates a share for a folder without the "download and sync" permission
- User A adds a text/markdown/office file
- User B opens the folder and sees the "Open locally" menu entry offered on the file
Expected behavior
The menu entry should not be shown on a share lacking the "download and sync" permission.
