Hi, we have the views feature on the roadmap. By defining views, you can specify which columns are included. Unfortunately this feature is still on roadmap, not yet implemented. |

I can’t remember if SharePoint included this feature by default or if it was achieved by a plug-in or by modifying the form creation template (I think it was the latter).
The idea was that you could create an approval form that only showed certain columns on the create item page but hid the approval columns that management would need to fill in. The permissions on the form would be set that anyone could submit a new form but only management could edit submissions. The edit entry form wouldn’t be modified thus showing all the columns, including the previously hidden ones for management use only.
Any chance this kind of functionality, even if the implementation doesn’t include editing the create/edit input pages, being added?
