the focus of the tables is to hold structured data, not documents.
I think to hold references to documents within nextcloud or elsewhere is the right way.

I would find it great if I could upload a file directly. Maybe you can start an upload here, which then automatically links the file.

We also had a lot of use cases for structured data, but for most of them we would need to add custom attachments easily (images, or a PDF, for example). Any update on this topic?
