The problem occurs with using:

That's weird. This function exists in v6 - https://github.com/ReactiveX/rxjs/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#630-2018-08-30

I can't reproduce it. It'll be helpful to reproduce it and upload it to a repository.

Ok the settings seems to be not the key. The 2 import errors came in with upgrading
elf from 1.4.0 -> 1.5.0 (using for emitOnce)

I can downgrade to 1.4.0 but even there i have the problem described initially in this discussion.
I can not reproduce it exactly until now. Only that:

Just upgrade RxJS. It should be seamless for you.

Upgrading my project to RxJS > 7.5.5 fixed the problem ( i think everything > 7.x).
This issue #196 seems to be the same problem and maybe the fixed imports in PR #197 the fix.
