I have started to link the chapters meaningfully. GKE that is being used throughout the book is explained at page 30(Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)). It's a pity that the book is not following K3d or Kubeadm instead. Thus have to return back from chapter 12 where a good hint about GKE is given at page 157(Hands-on with StatefulSets) and try this chapter through K3d or Kubeadm, at least at this point I think it should be possible. Another option is to create manually a PV. |

Hands on examples are not working. For them to work the part of installing a cloud engine is missing.
I just followed a basic tutorial to skip it, which by the way is a lot more meaningful: configure-persistent-volume-storage
