# License for Nipraxis Data files
The data in ``camera.txt`` comes from reading the
[camera](https://scikit-image.org/docs/stable/api/skimage.data.html#skimage.data.camera)
data file from Scikit Image, and writing the values to a text file. See
`./scipts/make_camera.py`. As noted in the link, the data has a CC0 license.
The individual brain image data come from three OpenNeuro datasets:
* dataset ds107 : https://openneuro.org/datasets/ds000107
* dataset ds108 : https://openneuro.org/datasets/ds000108
* dataset ds114 : https://openneuro.org/datasets/ds000114
The files from the OpenNeuro datasets are covered by a Public Domain Dedication
and License (PDDL) version 1.0 http://opendatacommons.org/licenses/pddl/1.0/ .
We release all derivative images in this repository under the same license.
The brain image template with names starting `mni_icbm152` are contained in, or
derived from the MNI non-linear templates archive
'mni_icbm152_t1_tal_nlin_asym_09a' last found at
http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/~vfonov/icbm/2009/mni_icbm152_nlin_asym_09a_nifti.zip
via http://www.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/ServicesAtlases/ICBM152NLin2009. The original
images have the following license (where 'software' refers to the image):

We release all derivative images in this repository under the same license.
The data from the anatomical image stored in ``anatomical.txt`` is from
dataset ``ds114``. It is a version of ``sub009/anatomy/highres001.nii.gz``
from which I (MB) have loaded the data and written the data to a text file.
The other brain images have the following provenance:
* ds107_sub001_highres.nii : uncompressed version of
`sub001/anatomy/highres001.nii.gz` from ds107;
* ds107_sub012_highres.nii : uncompressed version of
`sub012/anatomy/highres001.nii.gz` from ds107;
* y_ds107_sub012_highres.nii : distortion field mapping SPM template voxels to
millimeters in space of ds107_sub012_highres.nii. Calculated by SPM12 using
"Normalize: Estimate" (segment-normalize method);
* ds107_sub012_t1r2.nii : uncompressed version of
``sub012/BOLD/task001_run002/bold.nii.gz`` from ds107;
* ds114_sub009_highres.nii : uncompressed version of
`sub009/anatomy/highres001.nii.gz` from ds114;
* ds114_sub009_highres_brain_mask.nii : uncompressed version of
`sub009/anatomy/highres001_brain_mask.nii.gz` from ds114;
* ds114_sub009_highres_moved.hdr : header from ds114_sub009_highres.nii file
with transformations applied from `move_ds114_anat.py`;
* ds114_sub009_highres_moved.img : copy of ds114_sub009_t2r1.nii
* ds114_sub009_highres_brain_222.nii` is a subsampled version of
ds114_sub009_highres_brain.nii, generated by the script
`make_norm_images.py`;
* ds114_sub009_t2r1.nii : uncompressed version of
``sub009/BOLD/task002_run001/bold.nii.gz`` from ds114;
* mni_icbm152_t1_tal_nlin_asym_09a.nii is a MNI T1 template, and is a file from
the MNI template archive described above;
* mni_icbm152_t1_tal_nlin_asym_09a_mask.nii is an image defining the in-brain
voxels and is also from the template archive;
* mni_icbm152_t1_tal_nlin_asym_09a_masked_222.nii` is a subsampled, masked
version of `mni_icbm152_t1_tal_nlin_asym_09a.nii`, generated by the
`make_norm_images.py` script.
These files:
* rotated_volume.nii;
* secret_rotated_volume.nii;
are modified versions of the first volume in the ``ds107_sub012_t1r2.nii`` BOLD
data file, with modifications applied from the script ``make_rotated.py``.
Other text files are:
* ``ds114_sub009_t2r1_cond.txt`` is a copy of the OpenFMRI ds114 file
``ds114/sub009/model/model001/onsets/task002_run001/cond001.txt``, covered
by the PDDL 1.0 license as above;
* ``ds114_sub009_t2r1_conv.txt`` is an output from the code in
``convolution_background.rst`` and derives from
``ds114_sub0009_t2r1_cond.txt``. We release this under PPDL 1.0;
* ``my_hrf_estimates.txt`` is the output of the script
``write_mt_hrf_estimates.py``, and so derives from the `nitime
<http://nipy.org/nitime>`_ file ``nitime/data/event_related_fmri.csv``
licensed, with nitime, under the 3-clause BSD license;
* ``new_cond.txt`` - I (MB) wrote this file, and release it under PDDL 1.0;
* ``voxel_time_course.txt`` is the output of the code in
``test_one_voxel.rst``, therefore derived from data in
ds114_sub009_t2r1.txt. We release under PDDL 1.0.
* ``24719.f3_beh_CHYM.csv`` - from `Chris Gorgolewski
<https://reproducibility.stanford.edu/team/chris-gorgolewski/>`_, released by
him under a CC-0 license.
